We appreciate your interest in our ministry, and trust that it will be time well spent. Our mission is simple: we want to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, evangelize the lost at home and abroad, edify the saints, and educate the church so that she can fulfill her full potential to the glory of God.
We are an Independent Baptist Church with a passion for truth and to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We stand firmly on the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God which "liveth and abideth forever."
RIBC is located on the north end of historic Roanoke Island at Highway 64 and Airport Road, just one mile from "The Lost Colony" in Manteo, NC. We would appreciate a visit with you in our services - come see us.
We are excited about what our Lord is doing in our Church in 2016! We were able to refloor the offices, Sunday School rooms and fellowship areas last year and have several projects underway that help beautify the inside and out of of this wonderful building and location our God has supplied for the preaching of His Gospel. As always, the warmth from God's people make the inside a comforting, joy filled experience, thanks to the love of our wonderful congregation.
My name is Scott Baxley and I have the privilege of pastoring Roanoke Island Baptist Church. I invite you to come and see what God is doing at RIBC! We trust you will be blessed and encouraged by your visit.

Found throughout the Scriptures are many beautiful types and pictures seen in world events like the flood. We will be studying many of these meaningful events in our Bible Study. We hope you can join us for these rewarding studies on Wednesday Night!
